Abruzzo in autumn is a palette of colours in which to lose oneself. From the blue of the sea to the green of the olive trees, from the red to the orange of the foliage that stretches from the hills up to the mountains. Then there is an Abruzzo made up of experiences and stories, such as that of the Di Serafino family. Imagine turning up at a notary’s office to buy a historic estate covering a hundred hectares, complete with a nineteenth-century villa, only to be told: ‘The court registry is closed; we cannot register the deed today’. And imagine that the deal goes through all the same, on trust and with a handshake. This is the anecdote that marks the beginning of Villa Corallo’s second life under the Di Serafino family, a rediscovered gem in the province of Teramo. A story of vision, heritage and pragmatism that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of this corner of Abruzzo: proud, industrious and guardian of unexpected treasures. Our virtual journey takes shape right here in the province of Teramo, following a common thread that links the majesty of nature with the elegance of hospitality and the depth of history.
