Informed investing is the first rule for those approaching the world of finance. A rule that is often not always followed by those who discover cryptocurrencies, attracted by the easy gains that this new generation of financial assets has guaranteed in the past. Providing information and education to better understand the merits and demerits, risks and opportunities of this new frontier of finance is the mission of Cripto, the new weekly podcast of Il Sole 24 Ore conceived and hosted by Vito Lops. Every Wednesday, through interviews with experts and insiders, we tell you, in simple words, the story and the protagonists of the crypto economy. We take stock of the latest news, but also provide training and disclosure for newcomers to this market.

Fentanyl. The devil's molecule
by Biagio Simonetta
There is a new epidemic in the United States. It's not a virus. It's not airborne. But it claims more victims than any recent war. It is called Fentanyl: a synthetic opiate 50 times more powerful than heroin, easy to produce, impossible to stop. In six episodes, Biagio Simonetta recounts the crisis that is devastating American cities and families, starting with a news detail: the death of Prince, the pop icon who died of a silent overdose. It is a journey into contemporary hell between the alleys of San Francisco and the clandestine laboratories of Mexico. Among Chinese brokers who sell chemistry of death online, pushers who offer doses of Fentanyl like candy and cartels who use it as a new global weapon.
A journalistic, raw, personal account. It features the testimonies - among others - of journalists Francesco Costa and Victor Hugo Michel, and toxicologist Carlo Locatelli. A podcast to understand not only what is happening in America, but what could come - sooner or later - here too.

Elon. One, none, one hundred Musks
by Angelica Migliorisi and Luca Salvioli
A brilliant and unscrupulous entrepreneur. But, above all, a global phenomenon that defies the rules of the possible and divides public opinion. The Il Sole 24 Ore podcast "Elon. Uno, nessuno, cento Musk" traces the extraordinary rise of the visionary who is not satisfied with this world. A journey through the frailties, contradictions and ambitions of the man who seeks the storm and wants to determine the destiny of humanity.

A fearsome species of predators operates in the world of finance. They are thirsty for money, fame and power and are willing to do anything to obtain them. They are criminals of the worst kind, swindlers, men in league with unmentionable interests, adept at ingratiating themselves with the powerful and deceiving the defenceless... They are the Sharks, the double-breasted crime professionals. Recognising them is very difficult. Because they are able to camouflage themselves well in the drawing rooms that matter and have abundant means at their disposal to always get away with it. Their stories, those of the most unscrupulous financial criminals of our times, are told in 'Skills', a podcast series produced by the Sole 24 Ore.

by Paolo Colombo
"Extraordinary Edition, 10 spectacular events in the history of Italy" is a special podcast of the History Telling series, edited by Paolo Colombo, produced by Il Sole 24 ORE and Radio 24 for the 160th anniversary of the newspaper's foundation.

Disorder. The world's new coordinates.
by Giuliano Noci
"Disorder. Le nuove coordinate del mondo" is a two-part podcast produced by il Sole 24 Ore, based on interviews conducted for the book of the same name by Professor Giuliano Noci, pro-rector of the Milan Polytechnic. Through Giuliano Noci's conversations with Amalia Ercoli Finzi and Marco Bentivogli we will try to orient ourselves in the disorder and chaos of current events and trace those new world coordinates that will allow us to build a future capable of meaning and direction.

"We do it for your own good". These are the words repeatedly spoken by social workers, educators, judges, and law enforcement officers to children who are removed from their families of origin. Families in which even mothers, who have reported domestic violence, are considered unfit to care for their children. But what if these assessments are not correct? What if one speck in the judicial machinery causes the machine to jam? What happens to children who are placed with families or out-of-home care facilities often using questionable methods? "For your sake. The story of the four brothers from Cuneo" is the original podcast by Radio 24 and Il Sole 24 Ore that tells the story of four brothers who, one morning like many others, are removed from all their affections. A story reconstructed in a timely manner by Livia Zancaner, Radio 24 journalist and author of Alley Oop, Il Sole 24 Ore's blog dedicated to the themes of diversity and inclusion. A story that, as you will hear directly from the voices of some of them, will leave an indelible mark on ours and their lives.

There are places where news events open watersheds that are increasingly difficult to bridge. Places where, without one realising it, technology, progress or simply changes in the economy and society create rifts that separate, divide, often irretrievably, public opinion and the representatives of power. "The crack" is a podcast made in the field by the correspondents of Il sole 24 ORE and Radio 24 coordinated by Marco Alfieri, correspondent and editor-in-chief of Il Sole 24 Ore. Each story, investigation or reportage - signed in rotation by one of the correspondents - will consist of two episodes and a final interview with the author, available online on a weekly basis.

Mandela. The first attack on apartheid.
by Paolo Colombo
In June 1955, in the midst of the apartheid regime, the South African forces fighting against racism and discrimination initiated the incredible project of organising a national assembly to vote on a document (the Freedom Charter) containing the principles of a future democratic state. The government and the police put up all kinds of obstacles. Nonetheless, the 'People's Congress' will succeed: a literally epic feat, which will already see Nelson Mandela, together with many other indomitable protagonists, committed to designing a new future made of freedom and mutual acceptance between whites and blacks.

"The Bubble" is that familiar place where we find ourselves among people who share similar experiences. But what happens if we decide to get out of it? Every week, young Italians with experiences in the UK, China, the Netherlands, and the US come together to discuss the international news that has affected them, confronting the opinion of a journalist in Italy. La Bolla is the podcast for those seeking different perspectives, both generational and cultural, while maintaining a deep connection to their Italian roots. It is ideal for those who are passionate about current affairs, media and culture and want a fresh, lively and unconventional dialogue. "La Bolla" is a podcast produced by Il Sole 24 ore and Radio 24 and developed together with United Italian Societies.

It is estimated that over one million condominium disputes are filed in Italian courts every year. This is a clear sign that in condominiums, where the lives of more than 40 million Italians take place, litigiousness is very high. Disturbing noises that disturb smart working during the day and resting at night, annoying smells that creep into stairwells and flats, infiltrations due to maintenance problems on roof terraces. But also illegally occupied parking spaces, the constant coming and going for too many B&s... The list is long, but there is a solution: inform yourself about your rights and duties. How? By listening to 'Gentili Condomini', by journalist Annarita D'Ambrosio.

Sam Altman is the father of ChatGpt, the chatbot that made the world discover the potential of generative artificial intelligence. The man who is shaping the development of the most strategic technology of the coming years. Knowing Altman, then, means knowing a piece of our future. We spoke to those who worked with him. Reconstructed the milestones of his career. Investigated his strategic and economic thinking. Altman fits perfectly into the storytelling of Silicon Valley. He is its product, and today its leader. He studied at Stanford, without graduating. He was chairman of Y Combinator, the world's leading startup incubator. And now, where does he want to go from here? We tried to answer these questions with 'The Other Uncle Sam', the new Sole 24 Ore podcast dedicated to the man who, among other things, reaffirmed the centrality of the United States in the technological revolution.

The sex toys market is worth 10 billion in the US alone. That of porn over 1 billion. That of prostitution 15 billion. These are just some of the figures of the sex industry, which fuels an inestimable turnover. Inside and outside the boundaries of legality. It is a business, as old as the world, that is evolving and becoming increasingly sophisticated and complex thanks to technology. But who are today's sex workers and entrepreneurs? Sex workers and sex workers? In the podcast Sex Economy Silvia Martelli, journalist for Sole 24 Ore, takes us on a tour of a composite and varied universe. An economy in which there is a demand, fuelled by a potentially endless clientele, for ever new and customised products and services. And an offer, made by entrepreneurs and professionals who, online or offline, inside or outside the law, try to intercept it.

Guareschi and the courage to say no
by Paolo Colombo with Valentina Villa
"Guareschi and the courage to say no" is the title of the second season of History Telling. In this 6-episode series, the story is told of the Italian soldiers who, after the armistice of 8 September 1943, found themselves in areas under German control. The Nazis forced them to side with the Social Republic and Germany, but a million of them refused and ended up in concentration camps. Among them was also the future author of Don Camillo and Peppone Giovannino Guareschi, who dedicated a book to the story.
