Volkswagen is recalling more than 271,000 vehicles in the US due to a wiring fault that could deactivate front passenger airbags when the seat is occupied. This was announced by the US automobile safety agency.
The recall concerns certain Atlas 2021-2024 and Atlas Cross Sport 2020-2024 vehicles of the German car manufacturer in which the passenger occupant sensing system (Pods) could have a fault in the wiring and affect the front passenger airbags.
