(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - In Lombardy there are 61 supply chains recognised by the Region. A total of 1,344 subjects are involved, including companies and other entities, such as - for example - universities and research centres. As part of the strategy to support supply chains, the Lombardy Region has launched the new measure to strengthen them. The opening will take place on 28 March 2024 with the aim of promoting, through the granting of subsidised loans and non-repayable grants, supply chain projects of up to EUR 5 million with the aim of strengthening regional production chains and industrial ecosystems in global value chains in order to increase, also in line with the European Union's industrial strategy, the innovation, production and investment capacity of companies, especially SMEs. It has a budget of EUR 34 million, from ERDF PR resources 2021-2027.
