73rd National Bersaglieri Gathering: Meloni, Mattarella and Crosetto celebrate the Corps' courage and dedication

"I address my most sincere thanks to all the "Feathered Infantrymen" of Italia who, with passion and devotion, continue to preserve and pass on the values that have always distinguished the Corps". Thus on social media the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in a message of thanks to the Bersaglieri on the occasion of the 73rd Gathering of the National Bersaglieri Association. "At all times the Bersaglieri have shown profound courage, generosity and spirit of service. To all of them, on this important day, come my best wishes and those of the Italian Government together with undiminished gratitude," the Prime Minister added.

"On the occasion of the 73rd National Gathering in Lignano Sabbiadoro, I would like to address a greeting to the feathered infantrymen in service and on leave, who celebrate an identity linked to the history of Italia with unchanged enthusiasm and profound attachment to the values of the Italian Republic," wrote the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, in a message sent to the President of the National Bersaglieri Association, General of the Army Corps, Giuseppenicola Tota. "From the historical exploits of the Risorgimento to today's operational theatres, the Bersaglieri confirm a very high level of professionalism, offering in international missions and in supporting national security a precious contribution that confirms them as a pivotal element of the military instrument," the Head of State added. Similar greetings and thanks were expressed by Defence Minister Guido Crosetto and the Presidents of the Chambers Lorenzo Fontana (Chamber of Deputies) and Ignazio La Russa (Senate)
