Described as 'a piece of history, the place where the Italian industrial elite made decisions', it ended up - according to the Romagna newspaper - on the website of a Roman real estate agency specialising in luxury.

At the heart of the estate is the villa built in 1780 and designed by Camillo Morigia, architect of Dante's tomb, at the centre of a park extending over five hectares in which the old barn stands out, transformed by a joint project between Gardini and architect Gae Aulenti in which, underlines the 'Corriere Romagna'. , dominates, suspended in the centre of the space, the original model of the Moor of Venice.

In detail, the 'Monaldina' estate is composed of the 18th-century villa, flanked by a 144-square-metre 'guest house' on two levels, a 100-square-metre staff residence, enclosed by a 1.6-kilometre-long, three-metre-high hedge of holm oaks. In the large garden, there is also a heliport; a 14-metre-high monumental iron sculpture, 'Leonardo's Horse', created by Ben Jakober and Jannick Vu, a protagonist of the 1993 Venice Biennale; and two swimming pools connected by a wooden bridge.
