Sea: new sustainability-linked loan of 350 mln signed
Through a banking consortium
Sea Milan Airports has announced that, last Friday, it secured a new loan totalling 350 million euros, entirely in the form of a sustainability-linked loan, with a term of 5 years. The transaction – as explained in a press release – comprises a revolving credit facility of €250 million and a term loan of €100 million.
The financing was arranged with a banking syndicate comprising Banco Bpm, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Intesa Sanpaolo, Mediobanca – Banca di Credito Finanziario and UniCredit. The transaction – as explained in the press release – enables Sea to fully refinance the revolving credit facilities maturing in 2027 and “to maintain a high level of financial flexibility over the coming years. The new term facility will also support the investment plan for the next five years”. As part of the transaction, SEA was advised by Intesa Sanpaolo and Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank as Sustainability Coordinators, by UniCredit as Documentation Agent and by Mediobanca as Facility Agent. On the legal side, Sea was advised by Legance - Avvocati Associati, whilst Chiomenti advised the syndicate of financial institutions.
