Fuori Festival 2025 puts young people at the centre and proposes a rich programme of events, workshops and debates, designed to stimulate and support innovative ideas, between education and intelligent entertainment, with diversified formats designed to involve audiences of all ages.

The Fuori Festival 2025 stands out for its inclusiveness, offering spaces for dialogue and comparison for the new generations and, more generally, promoting the active participation of a transversal target. In a dense and varied programme, there will be appointments dedicated to the social economy, training activities and workshops, and vertical meetings dedicated to the world of work, wellbeing, health and sustainability.

Space for the voices of tomorrow .

This year's edition will be characterised by active participation and the sharing of thoughts: the brand-new Fuori Festival Lounge in Piazza Fiera will be the venue for some of the most significant events, starting with CALL FOR IDEAS 'The visions of tomorrow', the initiative promoted by the Scientific Committee of the Festival and the organising committee of the Fuori Festival to give a voice to the new generations. Thanks to this initiative, young people will be involved not only as an audience, but also as active participants in some of the panels, bringing their ideas, views and ideas for the future to the four days. At the Festival the participation will involve university students in the role of 'authors' of a panel or 'speakers' involved in topics of their interest and included in some of the scheduled round tables; at the Fuori Festival boys and girls aged between 16 and 26 will broaden the themes and bring to the centre of the debate the topics of greatest interest to the young public, animating open, informal and stimulating moments of discussion with the public. In both initiatives, boys and girls will thus have a voice and the opportunity to express their vision of the world of today and tomorrow.

The VISIONARIES

The most current trends and contaminations towards the future will be the contribution of the 'Visiona-ri', social talents, artists and popularisers who, once again this year from the stage in Piazza Fiera, will be the protagonists of the Fuori Festival using engaging and innovative languages.

With the young populariser Virginia Benzi, aka "QUANTUM GIRL", we will explore the role of scientific and technical disciplines in building tomorrow, involving children with quizzes on the theme of STEM and the FUTURE (24 May). Stefano Mancuso, neurobiologist and director of the International Laboratory of Plant Neurobiology, will guide the audience to the discovery of plant neurobiology, to understand how plants are sophisticated and evolved social organisms, built on a model totally different from ours (23 May); Antonio Losito, TV author, podcaster, pop populariser, will use his ironic and engaging style to talk about democracy and how fake news and artificial intelligence can - in a few moves - de-stabilise it (23 May).

Among the 'visionaries', an important section will naturally be dedicated to finance education, a key topic for the younger generations and beyond, in a world where managing one's finances is an increasingly important aspect of individual and collective well-being. Alan Smith, head of the Visual and Data Journalism team of the Financial Times, will explain how innovation often springs from bold ideas (23 May); then the eagerly awaited appointment with Young Finance, the financial education project of Il Sole 24 ORE aimed at young people, returns: Journalist Marco lo Conte, Youtuber Gianluigi Ballarani and professors Elia Bombardelli and Paolo Colletti will lead CRYPTOGAME, an interactive event that, through quizzes and questions, will support disclosure and help prevent any mistakes, scams or wrong choices (22 May).

Closing the appointments of the 'visionaries' in Piazza Fiera will be the cartoonist and TV author Mak-kox with a panel on 'Satire at the time of social media' (25 May), to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Festival of Economics together with the Andromeda Art Studio, whose cartoonists and comic strip artists have always accompanied the festival.

20 YEARS OF THE TRENTO ECONOMY FESTIVAL

Once again this year, the Andromeda art studio returns to the Festival of Economics with a critical and satirical look at the world of information. In addition to the usual annual exhibition, entitled "Smiles of the World", it will be possible to take a journey back in time thanks to the exhibition "20 Years of Looks at the World", organised by Trentino Marketing in cooperation with Andro-meda. An opportunity to retrace the editions of the festival through drawings and comics. Both exhibitions will be open to visitors at Palazzo Trentini from 22 to 25 May.

MUSIC BEYOND ENTERTAINMENT

The appointments with music are back. This year, music will be the protagonist not only as an art form and evening entertainment, but also as the subject of meetings and panels dedicated to creativity and career opportunities in music.

These include SWIPE, the format curated by the Fondazione Caritro, which will feature the testimonies of those who have turned their passion for music into a profession: among the guests are Shablo, producer and manager, moderated by Rudy Zerbi (22 May).

The event 'Breaking the Loop: Electronic Music and Gender Representation' (24 May) will focus on the challenges and opportunities for female producers and professionals in the recording industry. This will be followed by a live performance at the Fuori Festival lounge with Plastica and White Mary.

The 'words and music' appointments at the Teatro Sociale are reconfirmed with the big names of Italian music, such as singer-songwriter Brunori SAS (23 May), an ironic but deeply introspective performer, and singer-songwriter Gaia (22 May), with her pop sounds and Latin-American influences.

Also taking the stage at the Fuori Festival will be Manuel Agnelli (24 May): with 'SUONI DAL FUTURO PER AGNELLI', the musician and Radio 24 presenter will dialogue - in a unique and engaging encounter - with some of the protagonists of 'Carne Fresca, Suoni dal Futuro', the event that for months has been enlivening the evenings of Germi - his Milanese cultural space - with the freshest and most authentic voices of new Italian music.

The Fuori Festival musical programme presents some important appointments dedicated to classical music. One of the protagonists will be Maestro Uto Ughi with two important meetings at the Auditorium Santa Chiara, organised in collaboration with the Uto Ughi Foundation, which is committed to the dissemination of classical music among the new generations and the promotion of our country's great classical music heritage. The morning of Friday, 23 May will open with "Notes and Stories: a lesson with Uto Ughi", in which the Maestro will tell young people about music with a lesson-concert open to the public during rehearsals with the orchestra "I Vir-tuosi Italiani", while in the evening there will be a concert entitled: "Economy in Music: Uto Ughi's Sound Journey" with the Orchestra "I Virtuosi Italiani".

Other classical music events on the programme include an exclusive concert by the internationally renowned pianist Gile Bae (24 May), and the meeting hosted by Piero Maranghi (25 May), director of SKY Classica, dedicated to 'The Enterprise of Melodrama'.

COMEDY

On the evenings of the Fuori Festival, the magic of music will be joined by the power of laughter: from Thursday 22 to Saturday 24 May, some of the best talents of the Italian comedy scene will take to the stage to offer moments of lightness and irony. It will begin on Thursday 22 with the show hosted by Davide Paniate 'Le donne non fanno ridere' (Women don't make people laugh), conceived and produced by Paolo Ruf-fini for Vera Produzioni, with the participation of Beatrice Baldaccini, Aurora Camilli, Clau-dia Campolongo, Alice De Andrè, Ginevra Fenyes, Corinna Grandi, and Elisa Marinoni. Friday 23 will see "An Evening with Hamlet" on the Philharmonic stage. Saturday 24 the appointment will be with the direct and biting humour of Luca Ravenna and his show "I miei bitcoin".

Shrewd irony and brilliant improvisation, overcoming the boundaries of the politically cor-retto, will be on stage Saturday 24 May at the Auditorium Santa Chiara with the show 'Din Don Down', devised by Paolo Ruffini for Vera Produzioni with Paolo Ruffini and the Compagnia Mayor Von Frinzius, composed of actors with disabilities, directed by Lamberto Giannini, artistic coordination by Rachele Casali and piano accompaniment by Claudia Cam-polongo.

RADIO 24 PROTAGONIST AT PIAZZA BATTISTI

Once again this year, the Radio 24 stage in Piazza Battisti will be the protagonist with its live broadcasts from the morning. A unique opportunity for the public to meet the presenters, discover behind the scenes of the radio and experience the thrill of live broadcasting, including current affairs, economics, health, society and international insights. Uno, Nessuno, Cento Musk", "2024 Speciale Intelligenza Artificiale", "La Quarta Medaglia" to which will be added the Daily Podcasts of Sole 24 Ore, including "Market Mover".

The Podcast world will also enter schools in Trento: some classes will have the opportunity to participate in a special episode of 'That's America - behind the scenes of the United States' by Alessandro Milan and Andrew Spannaus (22 May).

In Piazza Fiera, instead, Alessandra Scaglioni, 24Ore Podcast Coordination Manager, together with some of the 24 ORE Group's leading professionals will lead the panel 'How a Podcast is born' (23 May).
