A simple accident (France)

The film that won the Palme d'Or at last year's Cannes Film Festival and is directed by one of the most important authors of contemporary cinema needs little introduction. Jafar Panahi signs a powerful feature film about a group of people convinced they have found the persecutor who tortured them in the past. They will have to figure out how and when to take revenge on him. Despite being a truly important and highly rated product, it seems to have no chance of winning the Oscars, starting behind the big favourites 'Sentimental Value' and 'The Secret Agent'.
