Acea: expanding in Peru, wins tender for wastewater treatment in Lima
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Acea Perú, a subsidiary of Acea International (100% owned by Acea Acqua), has been awarded the contract for the operation and maintenance of eight wastewater treatment plants in Lima, worth a total of 4.5 million dollars. A press release states that the contract with Lima’s water utility, Sedapal, is the fourth awarded to the company in the last two years, with a total value of 145 million euros. Acea is thus strengthening its presence in the southern part of the South American capital, laying the foundations for further growth in the country.
Specifically, the planned activities include the maintenance and upkeep of the following plants: San Bartolo, San Juan, Huascar, José Galvez, Julio C. Tello, San Pedro de Lurín, Pucusana and Santa María. The scope of the service also includes the pre-treatment system and the Nuevo Lurín pumping station.
