Geronimo La Russa was elected president of ACI. The Automobile Club of Italy assembly elected its 19th president for the four-year period 2025-2028.
Elected with over 78% of the vote
.The motorists' association returned to choose its leader through the ballot box with a larger majority than the last time, when more candidates competed in 2012: La Russa obtained more than 78 per cent of the 2,112 votes representing the total number of eligible voters.
La Russa: result of shared work
''It is an honour to have been elected at the helm of ACI, an institution that represents a heritage for the country, for the citizens, for the territories, for the world of sport,'' La Russa said. ''This result is the fruit of shared work, which starts from afar and looks to the future. I will work with a spirit of service, listening and determination, respecting all sensitivities and with a competent and passionate team,' added the new president.

.Born in Milan on 2 April 1980, La Russa is married and the father of two daughters. He is a lawyer, president of the Automobile club of Milan and has previously held the position of vice-president. He is one of the founders of Aci storico and a great lover of engines and sports racing.
