A new digital ally lands on your desk to support your daily tasks and it, too, is driven by artificial intelligence: it is called Acrobat Studio and is the new platform presented by Adobe that aims to redefine the management and creation of digital documents.

Conceived back in 1993, the PDF format has become the world standard for sharing and protecting documents, with over 3 trillion files in circulation today bearing this extension. The arrival of Acrobat Studio therefore represents a historic turning point where a simple editor evolves into an interactive hub capable of integrating productivity and creativity in a single experience.

In addition to offering Adobe Acrobat's familiar functions for viewing, creating and editing PDFs, the new platform is an integrated environment that also combines the power of Adobe Express and AI agents, which are indispensable for simplifying and speeding up every step of the workflow. In fact, with Acrobat Studio, users can count on intelligent assistants capable of analysing documents, extracting relevant data and transforming them into dynamic content, exploiting creative tools, templates, brand kits and Adobe Firefly-based image and video generation functions; it also includes AI functions capable of synthesising scanned documents and contracts.

It is Abhigyan Modi, Senior Vice President Document Product Group at Adobe, who says: "Acrobat Studio is the ecosystem that brings the best of your work together by combining the efficiency of Acrobat and the creative power of Adobe Express and the value of AI to enable you to work smarter and faster. We are reinventing the PDF for the modern workplace: whatever the goal is, with Acrobat you can achieve it".

But of course, this is not just a proposition for professionals, but opens up scenarios for all types of users. Students, for instance, can transform notes into neat sheets, consolidate research, check sources and generate citations, while, during daily activities, ordinary consumers can digitise documents and sign them without having to leave the platform or resort to other apps, or again, those who love to travel can collect itineraries, brochures and reviews in a single space where AI can help in organising the ideal trip.

And then there is an addition that takes the PDF format to a new level of interactivity. Within Acrobat Studio, in fact, there is PDF Spaces: a dynamic environment that transforms collections of files and websites into knowledge hubs where people and teams can interact with content through agent-based AI Assistants capable of extracting insights, suggesting ideas, providing recommendations and validating information. In addition, virtual assistants can be configured with specific roles and designated as instructors, analysts or even entertainers, adapting their language and approach to the context: with the teacher profile, for instance, content will be presented in the classical style of a lecture to a student.

Adobe Studio is already available worldwide in English and can be purchased from $24.99 per month for single users and $29.99 per month for teams, with a 14-day free trial providing unlimited access to PDF Spaces, AI Assistants and Adobe Express Premium.
