Key points
Started on 22 April 2026 the new call for proposals of Generation Land the tool managed by Ismea (Institute of services for the agricultural and food market) to facilitate access to land by young agricultural entrepreneurs (under 41) and accompany the generational change in agriculture.
The first applications can be submitted from 22 April until 19 May.
Purchase in advance with retention of title
The Generazione Terra land instrument is based on the institution of the reserved domain pact. Basically, on the recommendation of the young entrepreneur (and after verifying the requirements of the application) Ismea buys the land and assigns it to the applicants.
In return for the assignment, it is expected that the debt will be paid with a two-year grace period and a loan with a maximum total term of 30 years.
For the advance purchase of land, Ismea can count on a budget of 120 million euro.
