In 2026 Ismea will make available 100 million in funding to the agricultural world through two dedicated calls for tenders. The Istituto di Servizi per il Mercato Agricolo Alimentare (Institute of Services for the Agricultural and Food Market) has in fact announced the opening of the counter for the measure"Ismea Investe" 2026, a financial instrument aimed at corporations, including in cooperative form, in support of development projects in the sectors of primary production, processing and marketing of agricultural and agri-food products, as well as distribution and logistics.
The measure - governed by the Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry of 29 December 2023 - is divided into two lines of intervention.
The first envisages 'concessional mortgage loans of between EUR 2 and 20 million, with a maximum term of 15 years, of which up to 5 years of pre-amortisation, at an interest rate of 30% of the market rate' (here the text of the call).
The second concerns interventions at market conditions, also between 2 and 20 million euro, through which Ismea participates as a minority lender with respect to the overall investment requirements. In these cases, Ismea can intervene 'through the subscription of capital increases, bond loans, mortgages or participatory financial instruments'.
The 2026 edition of the measure has a total financial allocation of 100 million euro, equally divided between the two lines of intervention envisaged in the Call for Proposals, with the possibility of reallocating resources between them depending on the progress of applications.
