Airbus: H1 revenue up 12% to 33.2 billion, net profit up 47% to 2.2 billion
351 commercial aircraft were delivered in the first half of the year
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - The acceleration in commercial aircraft deliveries and growth in defence activities have underpinned Airbus’s performance, with the company announcing a 47 per cent jump to €2.2 billion in net profit for the first half of 2026. With 351 commercial aircraft delivered in the first half of 2026, Airbus’s turnover rose by 12% to €33.2 billion over the same period. EBIT stood at €2.745 billion (up 70% on the same period in 2025), with EPS at €2.84, whilst free cash flow before customer financing stood at -€1.2 billion.
“Our strong results in the first half of the year mainly reflect the higher level of commercial aircraft deliveries and the solid performance of our defence and space businesses, against a complex and rapidly evolving backdrop,” said Airbus Chief Executive Guillaume Faury, as quoted in the company’s statement. “We are stepping up our activities across all sectors to meet the growing demand for our civil and military solutions.”
