Aiscat: Larini – concessionaires operate 84 per cent of the network, generating added value of 4.8 billion
1.36 billion returned to the State in the form of taxes, duties and charges
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - , 15 July - "Aiscat’s concessionary companies manage more than 84 per cent of the toll road network (over 5,100 km) and, in 2024, its member companies alone generated a total net added value of €4.81 billion, a significant portion of which (as much as €1.36 billion, or around 28 per cent) was returned to the State in the form of taxes, duties and concession fees.” This was emphasised by Aiscat’s president, Fabrizio Larini, at the general meeting marking the 60th anniversary of the association, which brings together motorway concessionaires. “Not to mention the excellent results achieved in terms of road safety, with average accident rates having fallen steadily over the last two decades. These results are the fruit of the day-to-day work carried out by the concessionaires in close collaboration with all the institutions responsible for road safety.”
