Aixam Easy, what the electric and diesel microcar looks like and how much it costs
The French microcar replaces the switched-on model and features an updated design, revised interior and two trim levels. Air conditioning arrives and the electric car travels up to 113 kilometres
Aixam launches Easy, the entry model to the French microcar range and successor to the Minauto. Featuring a completely revised layout and available in electric and diesel versions, it relies on revised design, comprehensive equipment and a competitive price. The front end adopts LED light clusters integrated flush with the bodywork and a lift-up bonnet that facilitates access to the engine compartment. The approach is functional, with simplified surfaces and a construction oriented towards practicality in urban use. The one-piece Baquet seats in Tep Nabuk introduce a solution typical of higher segments, while the presence of three air vents and a large deflector under the windscreen indicate specific work on airflow management and comfort. The central smartphone holder is integrated into the design and not added later, a sign of a consistent design approach. Air conditioning, often unavailable among microcars, also arrives.
Aixam Easy electric and diesel, range and consumption
There are two architectures in the range. The electric version uses 5 kWh or 7.5 kWh LFP batteries with a claimed range of 75 and 113 km respectively. The transmission is managed by a Dnr rotary switch as standard. The thermal variant adopts a Kubota Euro 5+ diesel engine with indicated consumption of 4.3 litres per 100 km and a 16-litre fuel tank. The absence of Fap and AdBlue simplifies technical management and reduces maintenance complexity.
Access and Chic Outfits
The range structure is divided into two levels. Easy Access represents the essential configuration, available in either electric or diesel. Easy Chic introduces more comprehensive equipment with 14-inch alloy wheels, body-coloured interior trim and Bluetooth audio system. The layout remains modular, with a series of comfort-oriented options such as air conditioning on electric versions (optional from 1,300 euros) and a heated driver's seat. Personalisation also passes through the Aixam Skins that intervene directly on the interior. The rotary selector replaces more traditional solutions and simplifies driving operations. LED headlights improve visibility and reduce energy consumption in the electric version.
Aixam Easy electric and diesel prices
How much does the new Aixam Easy cost? For the electric version the price starts at 10,500 euros for the Access trim and goes up to 13,000 euros for the Chic version. For the diesel variant the list starts at 12,000 euros for Access and goes up to 13,500 euros for Chic.
