With the acquisition of Götti, Akn Group, a member of Alsara Investment Group, consolidates its steady growth since its founding in 2019 with its first official acquisition. Through design, craftsmanship, innovation and quality, Götti has represented one of the world's most respected independent eyewear brands for more than 25 years. Included in the acquisition is the Eyetech company, which produces high-quality lenses.
In addition to representing an important portfolio expansion, the acquisition is - says an official note - a transformative alignment of shared culture, values and expertise, bringing together cutting-edge technologies, design vision and a mutual commitment to excellence. From a strategic perspective, the acquisition marks a significant milestone in Akn Group's growth path, further strengthening the company as an innovative driver in the global luxury and high-end eyewear industry. Akn GroupGroup considers this acquisition a transformative event: with the merger of two complementary teams of talent, the collective synergy will push the boundaries of design, craftsmanship, innovation, performance and technology.
The comments of both parties
.'Swiss precision. Performance. These are the pillars that define us, explains Rosario Toscano, CEO and founder of Akn Group (here above, left, with Sven Götti) -. After five years of steady growth, the time has come to take the next step: expanding our portfolio, enhancing our distribution channels and strengthening our team. By merging the personnel, resources and expertise of both companies, we aim to create a high-performance eyewear giant, focused on quality at all levels. The acquisition of Götti embodies our vision of the future."
"With this acquisition, I am convinced that I have found partners who share a common and aligned vision of the future of eyewear. I am very excited to continue supporting the company in its next phase of development," adds Götti founder Sven Götti. "Sven will join the Akn Group's board of directors," explains Toscano, "and will continue to work at Götti, especially on the creative front, where together we are committed to preserving the integrity and identity of the Akoni and Götti brands. True progress is not about changing what we are, but expanding what we can become'.
