Albania: Rama: ‘We want to join the EU, and we’ll get there soon’

"We want to marry Europe; we want this marriage and we will get there very soon." This was stated by the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, at the European forum organised by the Future Investment Initiative Institute, regarding Tirana’s accession to the European Union. “I am a staunch European,” he continued. “Europe is a bold project, and I am in love with Europe; we want to marry it because it is the place to live.”
