A new, decidedly feminine collection, the ambition to grow in the US and expand in South America, and the desire to remain a brand loved by stars. Alevì Milano, the luxury footwear brand founded in 2019 by Valentina Micchetti and Perla Alessandri, is set to quadruple its turnover in 2024 from the year of its launch.
The new autumn-winter 2025-2026 collection, soon to be available in shops, and the one just launched for next year's summer follow the brand's distinctive style, focused on feminine and elegant, yet comfortable and passe-partout shoes.
'In March 2025, we concluded an investment round with Alejandro Baillères, president of the BAL group, which controls, among other companies, the Mexican retail giant El Palacio de Hierro and the prestigious high jewellery maison Tane,' Valentina Micchetti, co-founder of Alevì, tells Il Sole 24 Ore. 'The Mexican group now holds approximately 52 per cent of the shareholding. A springboard for further growth.
Alevì Milano was born in 2019 out of a shared friendship and passion. With the creation of the brand, Valentina and Perla put their respective previous work experiences to good use. Valentina in public relations and in particular in product placement, a segment of marketing that aims to give visibility to the product in the relationship with show business stars (and today she has her own agency in Los Angeles) and Perla in the family business, which produces luxury shoes. Today, Alevì produces all its shoes in its own factory in the heart of the footwear district of Emilia-Romagna.
"My work history with the family business in the San Mauro Pascoli footwear district - my father founded a craft workshop that became a contract manufacturer for luxury groups - prompted me to launch the brand the moment I met Valentina," says Perla Alessandri, co-founder. "The pearl that has just been added to the collection, in the detail in the heel, is a tribute to my name.
