Alfa Romeo gets on board Luna Rossa. The Biscione brand has announced its partnership with the Italian sailing team, ready to race in the 38th America's Cup scheduled to take place in Naples in 2027. Not just an image collaboration but a true technological exchange between two Italian excellences, as confirmed by Alfa Romeo CEO Santo Ficili, skipper Max Sirena and Prada Group Marketing Director Lorenzo Bertelli.

For now, no confirmation on the models to come, but there will most probably be a series of Alfa Romeos made in collaboration with Team Prada, not only characterised by a specific image but by dedicated contents developed in synergy between the engineers of Arese and those of the sailing team. The new Alfa Romeo Luna Rossa series will be unveiled in the course of 2026, indicatively over the entire product range available starting with the Junior, which at the moment has more than 40 thousand orders.

Alfa Romeo Stelvio delayed

During the presentation of the new collaboration, there was no shortage of questions about Alfa Romeo's current and future situation, especially the possible delays of upcoming models. As confirmed by Santo Ficili, the product plan announced in the past has undergone a major update that will lead to a multi-energy range composed of thermal, hybrid and all-electric models. This remodelling confirms the rumours of a possible arrival of the new Stelvio no earlier than mid-2027. Production of the Giulia, on the other hand, has been confirmed, also subject to rumours of possible cancellation. "We follow the evolution of the market and customer demands, remaining close to our dealers by working on an increasingly high-performance sales and service network. All this without forgetting the crucial role of the Cassino plant, where the Stelvio and Giulia will be built," stressed Ficili.
