Algòmera signs customised CRM with integrated AI that speeds up Promove's quotations
In the manufacturing sector, where product customisation is an essential competitive factor, the speed with which a company manages to transform a business opportunity into a concrete offer is a direct indicator of efficiency and maturity.
It is in this scenario that the project realised by Algòmera, an Italian software house specialising in the development of tailor-made solutions, for Promove, Italy's leading manufacturer of demolition equipment.
The project led to a measurable result: Promove went from taking up to three days to process a complex estimate to a maximum of two hours. A drastic reduction that not only affects operational time, but the entire business cycle, accelerating the ability to respond to the market and reducing the cost of internal inefficiencies.
Promove operates in an industry characterised by highly complex processes: configurable products, special applications, extra technical options and articulated logistical flows make quotation a strategic and, at the same time, critical step. In these contexts, traditional licensed CRMs struggle to adapt, because they are designed for generalist flows and not for highly customised industrial ecosystems.
In the last four years, the company has experimented with various solutions on the Italia and European market, without finding a tool capable of comprehensively covering all phases of the commercial process, especially in the offer configuration phase. When the quotation requires external steps, different tools or advanced customisation, the risk is a dispersion of resources that slows down the organisation and increases the likelihood of error.
Hence the strategic choice: to commission Algòmera to create a proprietary ecosystem, developed entirely to measure, capable of reflecting the company's real processes. An investment that becomes particularly advantageous when the complexity of the sales flow is accompanied by a significant number of users using the platform, an element that in standard software entails high recurring costs and an increasing dependence on the supplier.
The software developed by Algòmera centralises the entire sales process, from the first contact to the conversion into a customer, offering a single, structured view of information: master data, interaction history, documentation exchanged and activity tracking. The quotation has been redesigned as a guided and modular process, capable of automatically pre-filling information and filtering technical configurations according to the parameters entered, dramatically reducing time and complexity.
But the most innovative element of the project concerns the integration of artificial intelligence directly within the platform. Promove now has an integrated AI assistant via API, designed as a native component of the ecosystem. It is a model based on ChatGPT's Large Language Model, but embedded within the software via a controlled integration that guarantees full data security, which remains within the software's database: integration via API does not involve external storage of information, nor the use of Promove's data to train or improve the model. The assistant operates exclusively on the information already in the platform, guaranteeing control, business continuity and total protection of company information. Thus, the assistant does not operate as a separate system, but as a true super agent in-house: its strength lies in the fact that it can rely on all the information already in the platform, from lead and customer master data to product details, activity history and processed quotes. This allows users to freely interrogate it on any element of the business process, gaining synthesis, operational support and immediate access to information in a context-aware manner. The AI supports day-to-day operations by generating automatic activity summaries, call summaries and facilitating access to the company's information assets, helping to further reduce business management time and accelerate internal learning.
The project is a digital asset developed entirely for Promove, which holds full ownership. An ecosystem designed to evolve over time, eliminating constraints with external suppliers and ensuring autonomy in a rapidly changing market.
The Promove case demonstrates how bespoke software development, combined with the integration of AI into key processes, can transform a critical activity such as quoting into a competitive lever.
From three days to two hours is not just a figure of efficiency: it is a paradigm shift in the way a company governs its business cycle.
