Stock market: Alia Mentis begins trading, up 31.7% on its debut on Euronext Growth
Paronetto: "The market has understood our model"
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Veneto-based deep tech firm Alia Mentis made its debut today on Euronext Growth Milan; trading in the share was initially suspended due to excessive price rises, but it is now up 31.7%, trading at around €4.28. ““We are proud of the recognition the market is giving us; investors have taken the time to examine our business model, understood it and embraced it. This is exactly what we wanted,” explained Giuseppe Paronetto, chairman of Alia Mentis, on the sidelines of the inaugural event at Palazzo Mezzanotte.
‘We managed to preserve the company’s ownership and capacity right up to the very end’; an achievement, he emphasises, ‘thanks to the tremendous support of the banks’, which ‘backed us through everything, even bending some of the golden rules governing access to credit. This enabled us to emerge unscathed from the process leading up to the IPO’. According to the listing prospectus, Alias Mentis received support from Intesa Sanpaolo and Banco Bpm, with various loans between July and December 2025 totalling approximately 11 million euros. ‘Now the financial world and the market are taking notice: this is a model we will continue to pursue over time,’ added Paronetto.
“We will close 2026 as planned, with growth already set at +40%,” he said. However, the model is expected to reach its “full potential” in 2027, when “the brand projects currently in the incubation phase will move into start-up production”. The listing is part of a broader industrial strategy, linked to international growth and the development of the group’s proprietary technologies, which ‘are becoming global standards. The plan is to roll them out on a massive scale’, placing research and development and the ‘monetisation’ of IP licensing at the heart of the model, alongside ‘the vertical expansion of production’, the chairman concluded.
