iOS 18
.Important new features for iOS, the operating system for the iPhone. With version 18, coming this autumn, photo management changes and new ways to manage incoming mail in Mail are introduced, then comes 'Messages via Satellite'. On the design front, it will be possible to organise apps and widgets in any free space on the Home screen, customise buttons at the bottom of the lock screen and quickly access more options in Control Centre. In Photos, image libraries are automatically organised in a single view, and new collections allow you to have your favourite shots at your fingertips. Mail uses on-device intelligence to group emails by category and simplify inbox management, and new text effects are coming to iMessage. Using the revolutionary technology behind the satellite features already found on iPhone, the Messages app can now communicate via satellite in the absence of a cellular network or Wi-Fi.1

But back to the calculator, an app that iPad owners have dreamt of for far too long. The new calculator with Math Notes allows the user to type or write mathematical expressions and see them solved instantly, even if written by hand. Thanks to a new graphing function, the user can type or type an equation and enter a graph with a simple tap, and even add multiple equations to the same graph to see how they relate to each other. In addition, Math Notes are automatically accessible in the Notes app, within the new Math Notes folder.
