The ranking of the most popular mayors and governors: Fedriga and Guerra in the lead

The Governance Poll 2024, the historic poll measuring the consensus of regional presidents and mayors organised by Noto Sondaggi for Il Sole 24 Ore, sees two different winners compared to the 2023 edition: the president of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region, Massimiliano Fedriga , with an approval rating of 68% and the mayor of Parma, Michele Guerra, with an approval rating of 63%.
For the regions, the podium is completed by Stefano Bonaccini (Emilia-Romagna, 67%), who resigned on Friday and is now an MEP, and Luca Zaia (Veneto, 66%).
While as far as mayors are concerned, Guerra precedes the Mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi (62%), and that of Ravenna, Michele de Pascale (61%), who will be the PD candidate to succeed Bonaccini. An all centre-left podium.
Returning to the regions, the traditional leading trio (Fedriga, Bonaccini, Zaia) who have taken turns at the top of the Governance Poll over the years are followed byVincenzo De Luca (Campania) and the president of Calabria, Roberto Occhiuto. %. Attilio Fontana from Lombardy consolidates the result obtained on election day and with 55% is in 9th place. The governor of Lazio Francesco Rocca dropped with 47.5% to 11th place.
Big news in the ranking of mayors. With Guerra, who came in fourth place last year, Manfredi and de Pascale complete the podium, followed byseven first citizens in fourth place with 60% of the approval: Luigi Brugnaro (Venice), Mario Conte (Treviso), Alessandro Canelli (Novara), Mattia Palazzi (Mantua), Matilde Celentano (Latina), Claudio Scajola (Imperia), Giuseppe Cassì (Ragusa).
