(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Amplifon is the leader of the FTSE MIB on the Milan Stock Exchange, whilst analysts are beginning to position themselves ahead of the publication of third-quarter results, scheduled for a month’s time. The company’s shares rose by over 5 per cent, with trading volumes already reaching 880,000 shares in the first half of the trading session, compared with an average of 978,000 shares traded over an entire session last month. “We expect solid organic growth and a significant expansion in margins,” commented Equita, ahead of the results announcement on 29 October.
“We believe,” the experts add, “that the target market is showing signs of improvement, underpinned by technological advances” and a return to normal in consumer behaviour. Against this backdrop, Amplifon – having announced a second quarter that was slightly better than expected – is, according to experts , set to “post a solid third quarter, consolidating the positive trend and increasing the likelihood of meeting its 2026 targets”.
Equita thus confirms its ‘buy’ rating and target price of 14 euros, noting that Amplifon is trading at a 30 per cent discount compared with the multiples of its competitor Demant: a gap, the brokerage concludes, which “we believe will close once Amplifon completes the integration of Gn Hearing”.
