Prysmian: Anna Tanganelli appointed as the new CFO, effective from 1 November
This morning’s announcement of his departure from the Iveco Group
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Prysmian has announced the appointment of Anna Tanganelli as the Group’s new Chief Financial Officer. She will succeed Pier Francesco Facchini, who – according to a press release – will leave the company at the end of 2026 to pursue new career opportunities. Tanganelli will join Prysmian on 1 November 2026, moving from the Iveco Group, where she has held the role of Chief Finance & IT Officer since December 2023. “I am delighted to welcome Anna to Prysmian,” explains CEO Massimo Battaini. “Her extensive international experience, the reputation she has built up within major globally listed groups, and her in-depth knowledge of the industrial and energy sectors will be an invaluable asset to our Group. The level of responsibility now associated with the role of Chief Financial Officer is also the result of the work carried out by Pier Francesco, who is bringing to a close an extraordinary twenty-year career at Prysmian. Throughout this long journey, he has been a colleague, a leader and a friend. Over the years, Prysmian has transformed itself from a major local player in the cable sector into a global leader in energy and digital infrastructure. We have built a reputation founded not only on sound and rigorous financial management, but also on our ability to accelerate our growth – both organic and inorganic – to fully realise the Group’s potential.”
