Antonella Chiariello is the new country manager and managing director of Wella Italy.

Formerly cfo Italy & Greece and strategic development director for the Italian market - leading Wella in the carve-out from Coty to the acquisition of KKR and promoting an operating model oriented towards growth and sustainability - Chiariello brings to this new role many years of experience in finance and strategy gained in multinational companies in the beauty sector and beyond, including Nestlè, L'Oréal and Coty.

In his new position, he will be at the helm of an organisation consisting of more than 270 employees and responsible for a portfolio of market-leading brands - Wella Professionals, System Professional, OPI, Nioxin, Sebastian Professional - serving more than 10,000 partner salons throughout Italy and the omni-channel of cosmetics.

'Together with the Italy team,' he comments, 'we will work to strengthen our leadership by accompanying salons into the future of professional beauty while accelerating the development of the end consumer channel.

Wella Italia, continues to consolidate its leading position in the professional beauty sector, focusing on innovation, sustainability and training.

The subsidiary, which is solid and projected towards new challenges, strengthens its presence in the professional colouring segment and expands its product portfolio in hair care with the launch of the new Wella Professionals Ultimate line, while strengthening its presence in the nail care segment thanks to the OPI brand.

In his new role, Chiariello will immediately take on an active role in guaranteeing constant support for the traditional channel, considered the mainstay of Wella Italia's business, strengthening the company's presence on the territory and dialogue with hairdressers and the sales force. At the same time, he will continue the activity already started in his previous assignment, aimed at building a more agile and flexible organisation, oriented towards change.
