Antonini Group, 8 million business plan

The Antonini Group, which specialises in the construction of offshore platforms, military patrol vessels, hulls for third parties and, since 2020, maxi yachts under its own brand, has revised its 2025–2027 business plan upwards, with an increase of 3 million euros, bringing the total to 8 million, compared with the initial forecast (of 5 million). The plan envisages consolidating the group’s presence in domestic and international markets and strengthening its position in the energy, industrial infrastructure, oil & gas and shipbuilding sectors.

Meanwhile, the group has announced the start of production at the Sabratha offshore platform in Libya, made possible by the installation and commissioning of the Sabratha compression module, built by the company for Eni and the Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC). The module was built at the Muggiano shipyard (La Spezia) and subsequently installed on the platform, 42 metres above sea level. “After several months of work to bring it into operation,” Antonini explains, “the plant has now entered commercial production”, contributing to an increase in gas extraction from the offshore field.

The company explains that the project “represents a significant increase in the production capacity of the Sabratha field. The system, equipped with compressors supplied by Siemens Energy, guarantees a total processing capacity of approximately 400 million standard cubic feet per day”. The additional volumes of gas produced “will help meet Libyan demand for electricity generation and, at the same time, boost exports to Italia via the Greenstream gas pipeline, a strategic energy infrastructure linking North Africa to Europe”. Moreover, weighing over 1,700 tonnes, the Sabratha compression module is one of the key elements in the management of the field, as it helps to optimise hydrocarbon recovery and extend its productive life.

The Antonini Group, which has a turnover in excess of 200 million euros, currently carries out operations in Africa (with a construction site in Angola, an operational base in the Republic of the Congo and branches in Ghana and Libya) and, in Italia, it operates at various industrial sites, with workshops dedicated to the maintenance and construction of tanks, as well as the maintenance of facilities located throughout the country. The group is also involved in the modernisation, upgrading and adaptation of offshore oil & gas infrastructure in the Adriatic, as well as the onshore revamping of a compressor station. Furthermore, construction work is currently underway at the Muggiano shipyard on the Irena platform, destined for Croatia, and on the accommodation module for the Whpa offshore platform, destined for Libya.

As for Antonini Navi, the brand specialising in superyacht construction, the first vessel built by the shipyard – the Seamore 34 superyacht – was delivered in the first half of 2026; the second superyacht, the Evo 31, the company confirms, “is due to be launched shortly and, at the same time, a third vessel has been sold. At the same time, the boat refitting business at Marina di Pertusola continues to grow. This is – they say – a segment that is contributing, to an ever-greater extent, to the development of the business’.
