Aramco: Chairman says facilities were back up and running within a few weeks of the attacks
“We managed to get our facilities back up and running in a very short space of time. It usually takes years, but we managed it in the space of a few weeks” This was stated by the chairman of the Saudi oil group Aramco, Yasir O. Al-Rumayyan, in his speech at the FII Europe conference, referring to the missile attacks suffered by some of its facilities during the war in Iran. “The resilience of our supply chain is of fundamental importance to us” – he said – and “even during this conflict, our reliability remained above 99 per cent. We are therefore very proud of what we have achieved, especially given all the missile attacks our facilities have endured. We managed to get them back up and running in no time at all.”
