Aramco: reports a 34.6 per cent rise in net profit to $36.2 billion for the third quarter
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - The Saudi oil giant Aramco announced on Tuesday a 34.6 per cent increase in its net profit for the third quarter, against a backdrop of war in the Middle East that continues to drive up oil prices. Net profit reached 135.9 billion riyals ($36.2 billion), compared with approximately 101 billion riyals recorded in the same period last year.
Adjusted net profit stood at $31.2 billion (+9 per cent), whilst cash flow from operating activities rose to $38.7 billion. Adjusted EBIT for the downstream segment rose by 234.0 per cent year-on-year “thanks to higher refining margins”.
The board of directors has announced a base dividend for the third quarter of 2026 of $21.9 billion, up 3.5 per cent year-on-year, to be paid in the fourth quarter.
