Aristoncavi continues with the expansion of employment and the improvement of corporate welfare on which the company will increase its investment by 60% in the three-year period 2025-2027, compared to the previous one. Both to facilitate the candidatures of the highly specialised profiles needed by the Veneto-based company, which has a consolidated leadership in the production of special electric cables, and to strengthen the link with the territory, as well as to accompany growth, the chief human resource officer Lucrezia Alfieri tells us that "the company has signed a new integrative agreement with the trade unions that stems from growth as a driver and from the decision to identify boosters that, in line with the values of the Destro family, will outline situations of best favour to create a positive working environment. Growth is seen at 360°, both for the 40 hirings that we will make of highly specialised figures between production, maintenance, research and development, and innovation, after having reached 170 employees with a 12% increase in the last 3 years, and for the strengthening of our people's skills through the Academy, as well as for the link with the territory, also meant as High Schools and Universities, which is very important for us".
The relaunch of corporate welfare
.The agreement relaunches corporate welfare with an increase in investments and with many new features such as the decision to 'turn word-of-mouth to find new workers into a bonus,' cites Alfieri. 'We have instituted a Word-of-Mouth Token, with which the company will give a welfare bonus for each new candidate reported by an employee who passes the selection process. In addition to the Word of Mouth Token, among the new features introduced is 'The First Experience', a day dedicated to the children of employees to facilitate their entry into the world of work through support in the drafting of CVs and in preparing for interviews, and the 'Bonus Bebè', which grants an economic contribution to all new parents. Aristoncavi also supports schooling with scholarships for employees' children, up to EUR 1,500 for a master's degree.
Investing in workers' welfare
.With a turnover of 85 million euros in 2024 and a first quarter growth of 35% that, according to forecasts, will bring the company to a 2025 turnover of 104 million euros, Aristoncavi has a production of over 40 thousand kilometres of cables per year and 92% export in 55 countries served. With these numbers, for Aristoncavi CEO Leopoldo Destro, the renewal of the integrative agreement is "a further step forward in our commitment to put people at the centre of our development plan. Investing in the well-being of employees means focusing on the future, strengthening our presence in the territory, and increasing the company's competitiveness. We therefore reaffirm our mission to grow together, enhancing the human capital that will allow us to consolidate our role on the global scene'.
Work-Life Balance and Training
On the reconciliation front, the agreement integrates and expands initiatives such as agile working for office workers and wants to develop new working time schemes, such as the rolling hour and the four-day continuous cycle, for the production area. "In both cases with the possibility of converting any hours in excess of working hours into personal leave: this allows overtime hours to be paid and then leave to be put into the time bank," explains Alfieri. The agreement also introduces an ambitious skills development plan for the employees themselves through the company Academy, which will also have concrete effects on salaries, thanks to a polyvalence system designed to enhance, with a real allowance, the different professional skills and recognise the commitment of each person.
The new welfare platform
.At the same time, the company welfare plan has not only been strengthened, but also includes the possibility for employees to convert up to 60 per cent of their bonus into welfare. "We have created from scratch a flexible benefits platform with various goods and services ranging from healthcare, shopping, travel, and fuel," says Alfieri. "There will be the possibility of converting the result bonus into welfare, with an incentive for those who convert. All in all, we will create a piggy bank of up to EUR 1,500 in welfare credits, plus EUR 1,000 to support parenting".
