MyLoJack arrives: smartphone turns into car control centre
LoJack focuses on connected mobility and presents MyLoJack, the new application developed to integrate security, vehicle monitoring and digital assistance in a single platform. The novelty was unveiled at Automotive Dealer Day 2026 in Verona and represents a further step in the strategy of the company specialising in telematics solutions and stolen vehicle recovery. The aim of the App is to allow motorists to control their vehicle in real time directly from their smartphone, turning it into a true digital operations centre. Through MyLoJack, the user can consult up-to-date information on mileage and trips made, with the possibility of filtering data by specific periods or customised intervals. Key functions include intelligent and customisable alerts.
The application can send notifications if the set speed limits are exceeded, if the vehicle leaves defined geographical areas or if abnormal movements occur at night, all of which may indicate a possible theft attempt. The system also monitors the state of the battery and reports any suspicious voltage drops. One of the central aspects of the platform is precisely theft management. In the event of an emergency, MyLoJack accompanies the user through the post-theft procedures, providing indications for reporting to the police and activating a direct connection with the LoJack Operations Centre, active 24 hours a day, to quickly initiate vehicle search and recovery operations. However, the new platform also looks at the activities of dealerships. Through the SmartDealer portal, dealers can monitor the position of vehicles in the forecourts, check the status of batteries and access up-to-date information on alarms, faults and maintenance, improving the management of deliveries and test drives.
The system also enables a proactive approach to after-sales service. From engine warning lights to scheduled service coupons to tyre wear, the dealer can contact the customer directly, suggesting interventions and scheduling workshop appointments. The service is available for both new and used vehicles.
