Assonext awards, Otofarma, Redelfi and Icop on the podium
Best IPO, best performance and best M&A of the year awarded
During a special evening at Palazzo Mezzanotte, the Assonext Awards 2025 were assigned to the Egm companies that distinguished themselves most during the year in the Best Ipo, Best Performance and Best M&A categories. These were flanked by the recognition awarded to the institutional investors most active in investing in the Egm market. During the event, now in its fourth edition, awards were presented to Otofarma, active in the construction and manufacture of hearing aids and listed since August 2025 (Best IPO); Redelfi, a player in the green energy sector specialising in the development of battery storage systems, on the EGM since 2022 (Best Performance); and Icop, a historic construction company, on the EGM since 2024 (Best M&A of the year thanks to the two transactions promoted on Atlantic Geoconstruction and Palingeo). Algebris, Arca funds and First Capital received the special award for institutional investors.
"2025 has clearly shown the challenging phase we are going through: delisting is on the rise compared to IPOs, liquidity is decreasing, and there is greater disaffection in accessing the market. But precisely for this reason, the message we want to send out today is even clearer: only by joining forces, sharing values and vision, can we relaunch the development, competitiveness and ability to create value of listed Italian SMEs,' said Vincenzo Polidoro, President of Assonext. 'The Assonext Awards remind us, every year, how crucial it is to act in a systemic way: to support already listed companies, of course, but also to accompany those who look to the capital market as a lever for growth, showing how listing can turn into a virtuous path of innovation, transparency and industrial strengthening. Over the last ten years, the Egm has established itself as a strategic infrastructure for Italian entrepreneurship. And it is on this trajectory that we want to continue to invest, strengthen the system and build the future of a more modern, liquid and competitive market. Because these companies are not a niche, they are a pillar of the country's economy'.
"The sense of community and group that, with Assonext, we are committed to promoting continues to be an important factor for small and medium-sized listed companies, which find in the association a 'common home' where they can share experiences and perspectives," added Emilia Orsini, Secretary General of Assonext. The great participation in the Assonext Awards confirms this every year: we are proud to celebrate the most emblematic Egm case-histories, this year also together with investors who firmly believe in the strategic nature of SMEs and in the value of this growth project".
