Aston Martin is celebrating 60 years of the Volante version with two special editions of the DB12 and Vanquish. Produced by customisation service Q by Aston Martin, the two open-top supercars will arrive by the end of the year in just 60 examples of each model in the 60th Anniversary of Volante Edition..
Aston Martin 60th Anniversary of Volante Edition
.Featuring Q Pentland Green paintwork and a Q Westminster Green bonnet, they have anodised bronze detailing starting with the front louvred grille and 21-inch diamond-cut satin bronze alloy wheels. The bronze trim continues with Aston Martin's side aerodynamic element. Inside Inside, the Edition models boast a three-tone palette, combining Centenary Saddle Tan, Ivory and Woven leather colours. Customisation by Q adds Dark Walnut Open Pore wood upholstery, bronze detailing, personalised 60th Anniversary embroidery and seats with filled engravings.

Powered by the 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12, capable of unleashing 835 horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque, the Vanquish Volante is the fastest and most powerful production convertible ever produced by Aston Martin with a top speed of 345 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds.

Powered by the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, the DB12 Volante 2+2 is an open-top grand tourer credited with 680 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque capable of a top speed of 325 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km in 3.6 seconds,
Aston Martin Volante, the origin of the name
.The name Volante was introduced in 1965 with a model known as the 'Short Chassis Volante', one of the rarest cars ever produced by Aston Martin: just 37 examples were produced in one year. Both the Vanquish and the DB12 Volante feature the lightweight K-fold roof, able to open and close in just 14 and 16 seconds up to speeds of 50 km/h.
