Audi's future debuts in Milan with the Concept C. Not just a show car that will become a reality in 2027, but the future of the four-ringed marque, starting with the new styling direction created by Italian Massimo Frascella. Because the Concept C reveals the face of the Audis of the next decade, with the new rectangular grille ready to become a symbol of recognition for the Ingolstadt brand. The unveiling of the Concept C is also another chapter in Audi's transformation, which will see the brand headed by Gernot Döllner ready for a series of major changes. The new design philosophy is part of the realignment of the brand and represents a new beginning for the company as a whole. Products, processes and structures are dedicated to the essentials, laying the foundation for innovation and the announced goal of achieving technological leadership. The new design philosophy becomes a corporate principle that will be reflected in the definition of the model portfolio and organisational structure, as Döllner emphasised: 'Essentiality is the compass that will guide Audi in the times to come.' Presented in the spaces of the Portrait Milano, a complex dating back to the 16th century and first opened to the public by Audi in 2017, it will be exhibited at the IAA in Munich from 9 October.

New Audi Concept C

.

The entire volume of the Concept C originates from the unprecedented vertical frame that dominates the front. A styling element inspired by the Auto Union Type C of 1936 and the third generation Audi A6 (2004). The show car also introduces a new light signature with four horizontal elements. A solution shared by the front and rear light clusters that makes the car instantly recognisable. The dimensions are a length of 4520 mm, a width of 1970 mm, a height of 1285 mm and a wheelbase of 2568 mm. Interesting is the weight figure of 1690 kilograms; a 'light' figure when combined with an electric coupé with an opening 'Targa' style roof. The cabin develops towards the rear, while the electrically operated retractable hardtop is a first for a four-ring roadster, making it Audi's first 'Targa'. Featuring a two-piece construction, it combines the versatility of an open-air car with the clean lines typical of a coupé body. "Our history is characterised by bold leaps in innovation and technological avant-garde combined with an uncompromising vocation for purity of design," emphasises Gernot Döllner, CEO of Audi AG. "Our most iconic models are the perfect concretisation of this combination." Concretisation that will be seen on the production model, modified in styling compared to the concept solely with regard to crash test standards.

Interior Audi Concept C

A return to the past in a modern key. This could be summed up as the interior of the Concept C characterised by sharp surfaces and clear geometric shapes that provide generous roominess for both occupants, with the driver slightly offset towards the centre of the car. Made of anodised aluminium, the physical controls provide a tactile experience with the unmistakable haptic 'Audi click'. Also new is the steering wheel, round in shape and with physical controls with a sporty feel. The concept of essentiality is found throughout the cabin, with the 10.4-inch instrumentation only visible on request, otherwise hidden under the dashboard. "Radical simplicity is at the heart of our vision. We create clarity by reducing everything to the essentials," says Massimo Frascella, Chief Creative Officer. This applies not only to the exterior of the cars, but also to the interior.

The Audi transformation

.

A new beginning that, not surprisingly, is celebrated in a city synonymous with design and technology, and home to extraordinary personalities. Even today, few ideas continue to inspire as much as those expressed by the Renaissance. 'Visionary thinking and the will to go beyond the known are at the heart of the Audi vision,' says Gernot Döllner. From 2023, through the Audi Agenda, the company is geared towards introducing profound changes. In the first half of 2025, the House of the Four Rings has been working on implementing this transformation in order to strengthen its ability to innovate and future-proof its business model. "We are now seeing the first successes," added Döllner. "First and foremost thanks to the product offensive and the renewed portfolio of cars, which allows us to invest in quality and innovation. No less important is the strategy for China, where we have again underlined our pioneering spirit with the introduction of the Audi sister brand. The agreement negotiated in March between the Board of Directors and the Works Council of Audi Ag strengthens the company's competitiveness and stability. A horizon characterised by investments in the German sites of EUR 8 billion by 2029. By the end of this year, more than 20 new models will have been introduced in 24 months and five models dedicated to the Chinese market will arrive. An entry-level full-electric model produced in Ingolstadt and Audi Sport high-performance cars will arrive in 2026. Confirmed collaboration with Rivian on the software front and a presence in Formula 1, the latter seen as the ideal stage to amplify the Audi brand globally.Anticipates an electric two-seater sports car expected in 2027 and unveils the lines of the future Audi range
