Audi Nuvolari at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed

The Audi Nuvolari makes its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It is the fastest and most powerful model ever produced by the brand with the four rings, as well as the first production car based on the new design philosophy introduced by Italian designer Massimo Frascella. Driven by racing driver Tom Kristensen, the limited-edition coupé will race at full speed along the nearly 2-kilometre hill climb within the grounds of the Duke of Richmond’s Goodwood House estate. Also taking centre stage is the Audi RS 5, which will be at the Goodwood circuit from 9 to 12 July, alongside the first public dynamic demonstration of the Auto Union Lucca, a replica of the world’s fastest road-going racing car from 1935.

On the British circuit, the Audi Nuvolari will unleash the 1,000 cavalli delivered by its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 plug-in hybrid engine, derived from the one fitted to the Lamborghini Temerario. Produced in a limited edition of just 499 units from 2027 onwards, it is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds, reaching 200 km/h in 6.8 seconds and exceeding a top speed of 350 km/h.

At Goodwood, Audi is exhibiting a series of racing cars from the Audi AG historic collection, including the cars that competed at Le Mans and in rallies, alongside the Auto Union Type C and Auto Union Type D ‘Silver Arrows’. The guest of honour is the Auto Union Lucca, a replica of the famous streamliner which, in 1935, became the world’s fastest road-going racing car, recording the extraordinary speed of 326.975 km/h. Audi Tradition has reconstructed the car, which was unveiled for the first time in May in the Italian city of the same name, the scene of the historic record.
