Audi Q3 facelift: more features but the price remains the same

The Audi Q3 has been updated for the 2027 model year, featuring a more comprehensive range of equipment, greater digital integration, new driver-assistance systems and easier charging for plug-in hybrids. The updates apply to both the standard Q3 and the Sportback and will arrive in Italian showrooms in the third quarter of 2026. The price list remains unchanged, starting at €44,200.

The main changes relate to the standard equipment. From the Business trim level upwards, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, a rear-view camera and the comfort key are now fitted as standard. These features previously required upgrading to higher trim levels or the purchase of specific packages. The Business Advanced and S line trims also feature Side Assist for blind-spot monitoring, Exit Warning, which alerts the driver to approaching vehicles or cyclists when opening the doors, and Rear Cross-Traffic Assist, which is useful when reversing. The structure of the Tech, Tech Plus and Tech Pro packages has changed, with some features now available to order individually.

For the first time, the Q3 features a 10.9-inch display dedicated to the front passenger. The screen complements the 11.9-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit and the 12.8-inch central display. The infotainment system runs on Android Automotive and allows apps – including Microsoft Teams – to be installed directly onto the car, without the need for a smartphone. The steering wheel controls have also been updated and now feature touch-sensitive surfaces and scroll wheels with haptic feedback. The phone compartment supports the Magnetic Power Profile standard and increases wireless charging power from 15 to 25 watts. Three USB-C sockets with power output of up to 100 watts are available for rear passengers.

The 2027 model year brings a number of new features in the area of driver assistance systems, starting with Adaptive Cruise Assist, which now uses online data and information gathered from the fleet to adjust speed and distance from the vehicle ahead. The system also takes into account the average speed recorded on a given route and assists with lane-keeping. The driver fatigue detection system incorporates a dedicated camera that monitors the driver’s face, whilst Park Assist Pro and the learnt parking function can be controlled remotely via the myAudi app. Valet mode locks the screen and controls when the car is entrusted to another person, restricting access to personal data.

The Q3 e-hybrid and Q3 Sportback e-hybrid models introduce the Plug and Charge function. At compatible charging points on the Ionity and Ewiva networks, simply plug in the cable to start charging. Vehicle recognition and billing are handled automatically, without the need for cards or apps. The plug-in hybrid’s towing capacity has also increased. The maximum figure is now 2,000 kilograms, 600 more than the previous version.
