Made in Italy agrifood quality also travels along the Italian motorway network. The 'Origini Edition' project was presented in Rome, an initiative signed by Autogrill and the Qualivita Foundation that focuses on PDO and PGI products, guaranteeing a new and important showcase for products of excellence from Italian territories
The project is also part of the initiatives to enhance the Italian Cuisine UNESCO Intangible Heritage of Humanity, initiatives that emphasise the characteristics of quality, traceability and craftsmanship that represent the competitive advantage of Italian food & wine on the markets.
Fostering knowledge of PDO and PGI products
The initiative also responds to the need to promote awareness of PDO and PGI products through targeted communication within the Autogrill network.
The 'Origini Edition' project envisages the development of a periodic selection of exclusive recipes, developed in collaboration with the Qualivita Foundation and the Protection Consortia that include ingredients based on PDO and PGI products.
