B-CAD brings the construction site of the future to the Cloud
From 4 to 6 September in Rome, an event dedicated to architecture, construction and design
Less traditional building site, more technology, sustainability and data. It is with this focus that B-Cad, Building-Construction Architecture Design, returns to La Nuvola in Rome from 4 to 6 September: the event that brings together companies, professionals, institutions and associations from the construction sector.
The programme brings together two broad areas – Design and Construction – and four strands: architecture and design, construction and materials, systems and climate control, and digitalisation, software and BIM. It covers much of the agenda that is reshaping the sector: biocompatible materials, energy efficiency, home automation, artificial intelligence applied to design, augmented reality and data management.
The message is clear: the transformation of the construction industry no longer hinges solely on new materials, but on the convergence of design, software, smart systems and sustainability. And the event seeks to give this convergence an industrial and international dimension as well.
The opening conference, ‘Building Italia, Opening Up the World’, will focus on the Housing Plan, economic diplomacy and the tools available to support businesses and ‘Made in Italy’ products abroad. This will be followed by technical round-table discussions on smart buildings, digitalised infrastructure, security, urban planning and vocational training, with workshops organised in collaboration with Formedil.
