Musumeci: 'Prevention prevented victims'
"It is clear that the prevention here has brought concrete results, fortunately we have not recorded any casualties," said the Minister of Civil Protection Nello Musumeci during his visit to Santa Teresa di Riva (Messina), one of the places most affected by the wave of bad weather. "The climate has changed and the meeting of hot air with cold air determines the cyclone," he continued, "the issue is not if it comes back but when it comes back and hoping that it comes back as late as possible we must work for prevention the structural one and the verbal one, that is, the one you do in schools when you explain it to a child.
