Banco BPM: Credit Agricole has not asked the ECB to allow it to exceed 30 per cent

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Credit Agricole ‘is not authorised’ and ‘has not applied’ to the ECB to ‘exceed the 30 per cent threshold’ of Banco Bpm’s share capital, nor to ‘exercise control’ over the bank based in Piazza Meda. This is stated in the declarations of intent accompanying the notification to Consob of Banque Verte’s increase in its stake in Banco Bpm to 29.3 per cent.
