Barabino & Partners joins Excellera Advisory Group, "Italy's largest corporate affairs consultancy". Established in November 2022 "from the partnership between Cattaneo Zanetto Pomposo & Co. and Community, with the support of Xenon Private Equity, Excellera has also been joined in the last year by Public Affairs Advisors and Value Relations".
With this new operation, underlines a note, "the group will count among its ranks the first two Italian communication companies in terms of size and value: Barabino & Partners and Community. Together with them, the first public affairs consultancy company, Czp, which operates in synergy with Public Affairs Advisors and Value Relations, specialised respectively in the energy & infrastructure and life science sectors".
The deal will be finalised by May and 'follows the same scheme around which the entire project was conceived: the leading companies maintain brand and management autonomy, continuing to operate in perfect competition as is already the case today'.
Industrial shareholders will jointly hold almost 50% of Excellera, with the Xenon fund in the majority. In detail, the corporate structure will see several key people from Barabino & Partners, through B&PFutura with approximately 14.9%, Community Partners, through AlwaysOn, with approximately 12.3%, as well as Alberto Cattaneo, Paolo Zanetto and Claudia Pomposo with approximately 6.2% each, Paa through Gm Holding with 1.2%, Value Relations through Palomar Holding and Chemax with 2.2%.
Excellera will thus be able to count on a total turnover of more than 60 million, around 300 employees and collaborators, and an Ebitda of 20 million. As with the other companies, Barabino & Partners Futura will also elect two directors to sit on the Excellera group's board of directors: Luca Barabino and Federico Steiner will thus join the board together with Auro Palomba and Giuliano Pasini (Always On), Alberto Cattaneo, Claudia Pomposo and Paolo Zanetto, as well as the majority directors representing the Xenon Fund, which also has its chairman Gianfranco Piras.
