A plan to go from 634 million in consolidated sales in 2022/2023 to one billion in revenues by 2030. This is that of the historic Bauli Group, founded in 1922, which is embarking on a new development strategy. With an investment of about 82 million in the two-year period 2024/2025, new product lines will be developed for the Bauli and Motta brands, production processes will be improved, and the brand will be repositioned. Work will also be done on sales channels and strengthening in key foreign markets. At the centre is the Bauli brand, popular for its recurrence cakes and snacks, which incorporates the Buondì and Girella product lines, and the mother yeast that the company has been guarding for over 100 years and which is the basis of all its products. Motta with its panettore becomes a premium brand. "We believe that through differentiation and the creation of value for the consumer, there is still room for growth both in Italy and abroad," explains Fabio Di Giammarco, CEO of the Bauli Group. "On the strength of our 100 years of expertise in the world of bakery, we are looking enthusiastically to future goals, making all-round innovation our main strategic lever to reach new consumer targets, in different consumption and purchasing occasions. New categories and new products will be progressively developed, accentuating the positioning of snacks for every day and every need by accelerating the development of the festive segment, the daily consumption segment as well as the segment dedicated to consumers with special dietary needs. The number of 'Minuto Bauli' shops where freshly baked products can be purchased and consumed will increase. As far as internationalisation is concerned, the aim is to gain new spaces in the USA, India and South East Asia, where the Group is already present, and the Middle East and South America are also being looked at.
