Benevento honours ‘Star Businesses’

The best businesses take to the podium. The ‘Imprese Stellari’ awards ceremony will take place on 27 August at 9.00 pm in Piazza Santa Sofia, as part of the Benevento Città Spettacolo festival. Now in its fourth year, the award is organised by Confindustria Benevento with the aim of highlighting the role of business and recognising companies that have distinguished themselves in various ways. For the first time, the competition is open not only to businesses from Benevento but to all Italian companies. A panel of entrepreneurs chaired by Gerardo Casucci and comprising Clementina Donisi, Filippo Liverini, Alessio Zollo and Gilda Benevento has selected the winning companies, whose names will be revealed during the evening of the 27th.

The 2026 edition of the Award is dedicated to the theme of the Mediterranean and has invited applications from Italian companies with investment projects in the Mediterranean. The award categories defined for 2026 are: Trade Routes: dedicated to internationalisation and exports; Med-Agri, aimed at co-development and innovation in the agri-food sector; Koinè: centred on cultural exchange, shared training and human capital; Energy and Infrastructure: focused on connectivity and the green transition. Furthermore, Med-Tech: intended for organisations promoting bilateral technology transfer. During the final evening, the Lifetime Achievement Award will also be presented to the artist Andrea Sannino. The evening is sponsored by BANCO BPM.
