The 'TERA' project, which stands for Territorial Advanced Regeneration, aims to set up a Permanent Technical Table on Urban Sustainability and Territorial Development. The initiative was born in Benevento on a proposal by Ance Benevento and actually takes the form of a broad institutional alliance between strategic players in the world of sustainable infrastructure, construction, research and credit.
Memorandum of Understanding signed
.This was discussed yesterday at the new headquarters of ANCE - Confindustria Benevento in Piazza Risorgimento. After the event, a multilevel Memorandum of Understanding was signed, which will pursue the objectives of Agenda 2030, the European Green Deal and the National Strategy for Urban Regeneration. In short, ANCE Benevento proposes itself as a promoter, facilitator and aggregator of skills and resources to accompany local authorities and contracting stations towards a new sustainable planning of urban regeneration and settlement quality.
Public-Private Partnership
Confindustria Benevento; AIS - Sustainable Infrastructure Association, a national reference body for the promotion of sustainable and resilient infrastructure models; Green Building Council Italia; STEP - Strategic Team Of Planning; Regione Campania; Municipality of Benevento; Province of Benevento; University of Sannio; Order of Architects of the Province of Benevento; Order of Engineers of the Province of Benevento; College of Surveyors; SVIMEZ; BdM Banca - Gruppo Mediocredito Centrale.
Involving 78 municipalities
.Representatives of the 78 municipalities in the province have been invited to the initiative. They will be actively involved in identifying planning and infrastructure priorities on a municipal and inter-municipal scale and in creating a stable network for comparison, exchange and technical and regulatory updates, but above all they will be the final recipients of a shared project bank containing qualified proposals, ready for access to regional, national and European funding through competitions for ideas and design, to generate innovative solutions that respect local contexts.
