A year of growth for Fabbrica d'Armi Pietro Beretta, which aims to close the year with revenues in the region of 330 million, up from 314 million last year. For the Gardone Val Trompia company, which next year will reach 500 years of history, new investments are also on the way: 40 million over the next three years, as explained by president Franco Gussalli Beretta.
Investments in production and new technologies, which are continuing, for example by creating a digital twin of the production processes, which will be complemented by a similar project for the end customer.
In the meantime, the group continues work on the Innovation Hub, which will be opened in 2026.
"The year 2025," comments CEO Carlo Ferlito, "we will remember it as the year in which the concrete use of data made it possible to launch projects that will give the company a primary competitive advantage. In a context profoundly transformed by Artificial Intelligence, the intelligent management of data has become an essential condition of competitiveness. This is why Beretta continues with determination on the path towards a true Data Driven Company, promoting a solid, secure and ethical data culture. Today, the Factory Digital Twin represents a strategic asset: a dynamic and constantly updated replica of our production processes, capable of supporting operational monitoring, simulations and investment decisions. In parallel, with the new Customer Community and the future Customer Digital Twin, we extend this logic to the end customer, creating a digital ecosystem that puts the person and the experience at the centre. Finally, the Training Digital Twin marks a significant evolution in training, combining real and virtual environments for immersive, safe and highly customised training. Three projects that define the Beretta of the coming years, where data, technology and people converge to transform the way we work and create value".
"In 2025," added Chairman Franco Gussalli Beretta, "we strengthened our commitment to sustainability with the establishment of an ESG Sustainability Board, the expression of a focus that has been active for more than 100 years, which from next year will meet periodically to monitor targets through KPIs, assess opportunities for improvement, best practices and regulatory updates. The Carbon Footprint analysis continued with Scope 1 and Scope 2 reporting, the monthly Energy Analysis and the development of systems for product life cycle calculation. In the area of sustainable mobility, from June 2023 to date, almost 110,000 km of polluting mileage and 14 tonnes of CO2 have been avoided, involving more than 160 people.
