Berlin Packaging's innovation goes through sustainability and hitech solutions
New make-up lines thanks to the acquisition of Cosmei
Technical innovation and a focus on sustainability is what Berlin Packaging is all about: from premium fragrance bottles to the most advanced refill solutions to the new make-up collections by Cosmei, the Italian premium beauty packaging specialist that recently joined the group. For the first time at Luxe Pack Monaco 2025 Berlin Packaging Beauty presented the StickLab collection, a line of stick packaging dedicated to make-up, skincare and hybrid formulas.
The acquisition of Cosmei was the latest strategic move by Berlin Packaging, a supplier of packaging and closures in glass, plastic and other materials in various sectors - from beauty to food to personal care - with over one hundred years' experience in the industry, more than 1,100 professionals and a global network of suppliers and warehouses in 16 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa that ended 2024 with global group sales of $3 billion, a third of which was generated in the Emea region.
"A figure calculated considering all the industries in which we operate," explains Vivien Charrey, managing director of Berlin Packaging Beauty. "The forecasts for 2025 reflect our strategic objective of achieving a higher growth than that of the reference market thanks to our constant focus on innovation, excellence in service quality and the ability to adapt to customers' needs. The beauty sector has historically had its most significant and consolidated market share in Italy for the company, "but our presence also extends widely throughout the Emea area and the United States, where we have been active and recognised for years," continues Charrey.
Also new is Future.Fill, an innovative connector system to smooth the transition between refill and primary container that allows brands to reduce material consumption and optimise logistics and storage. Like the refill system, AirLight Refill has evolved with the introduction of the new Refill & Go format, a compact and modular version designed to meet the needs of launching in travel-size formats or gift sets. It optimises the use of components and reduces waste.
