Bernabò Bocca reconfirmed as president of the association

A unanimous election, like the last ones. The 76th National Assembly of Federalberghi members confirmed Bernabò Bocca as president of the federation of Italian hoteliers. The national assembly represents for Federalberghi the highest mplementation of the federation, gathering around it voices, reflections, enthusiasms and concerns of the tourist accommodation sector. And it is with today that the appointment dedicated to the sector kicks off, which will be attended by the 128 territorial associations, delegations and presidents of all Italian regions.

"Feeling the participation of all my people and, above all, realising that there is still enthusiasm in having me at the helm of a federation as important as ours, gives me the right charge to stand up to this nomination," Bocca said warmly. "I consider it an honour to be reappointed in this role: thanks to the general consensus, I will remain in the great house of hospitality. I feel ready to face all our battles together once again, building the tourism of the future'. The assembly also elected Marco Coppola as head of Federalberghi Extra and Emilio Massimo De Ferrari as head of Federalberghi Isole Minori. "The commitment and effort put in over time are fully compensated by the satisfaction for the results achieved and, even more so, by your esteem, which I hope I have adequately reciprocated," Bocca concluded, "I would like to thank you again for the unanimous support you have given to my candidacy.

Bernabò Bocca began his professional career in 1983, when he joined the family business, S.I.N.A. Hotels, in the role of assistant to the Chairman, until becoming Chairman in 1990. Under his management, S.I.N.A. Hotels grew considerably in terms of facilities, turnover, number of employees and national and international reputation. For his work he received the honour of Cavaliere del Lavoro in 2005. He has been National President of Federalberghi since 2000. He was Senator of the Republic in the 17th Legislature, and has been President of the Fondazione Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze since 2023.

Tomorrow, the assembly will open to public debate. In front of a large audience of hoteliers, entrepreneurs, insiders, journalists and institutions, the most interesting and topical issues for the category will be addressed.
