From Del Zoppo and Panzeri comes BFood delle valli, bresaola hub with 100 million turnover

Fratelli Beretta aims to strengthen the bresaola market by creating BFood delle valli srl, a new production hub that brings together the two brands Del Zoppo and Panzeri
With a total turnover of over 100 million euro, two production plants and two slicing plants for a total of 13 production lines, an industrial reality has been created that integrates two historical brands of the production excellence of bresaola from Valtellina and Valchiavenna.
A majority shareholder in both companies, Fratelli Beretta promoted this integration in order to 'create industrial and research synergies, innovation and development in a market that traditionally had little inclination towards diversification and had been showing signs of decline for some time'.
The operation, active from the beginning of 2026, envisages investments of 3 million over two years in new technologies, production lines, and management software with the aim of innovating bresaola, making it more versatile and adapted to new consumption trends, in a difficult economic period for this cured meat product.
"In fact, research and development work has been successfully undertaken for some time now to re-propose the quality and flavour of bresaola in a more modern and appealing way of consumption," explain the company, "launching on the market products such as julienne bresaola to enrich salads or Rolls with cheese suitable for snacks and aperitifs.
